4500 Kelvin degrees

Simone Cametti

For Francesca Antonini's Contemporary Art Gallery, the author plays with nature and artifice by putting them in relation through the element of light, at its peak of maximum visibility and naturalness, or 4500 Kelvin degrees. An installation dominates in thespace, placing itself in the middle of infrared and ultraviolet radiation (respectively the longer and shorter wavelengths). The two extremes are then transformed into colors by covering Carrara marble and enhancing its veins.
